Real haven of peace nestled in the Normandy countryside and close to the seaside; you will be rocked in an authentic and warm atmosphere, for a charming weekend, a romantic stay, a family vacation, an excursion to the sites of the landing beaches (Omaha and Utah Beach) or the medieval town of Bayeux.

Château d’Argouges has a capacity of 15 people, has 5 beautiful rooms fully personalized, and offers rental of two independent cottages can accommodate respectively 10 and 14 people.

Stay in shapes !

Pool & Gym

Our 30 ° heated swimming pool is in a area closed by walls and faces south. In the orchard, the pool area is equipped with sun loungers, a barbecue and a dining area. This swimming pool of 15m x 4,5m will allow you to achieve great lengths or to play volleyball.
The gym is equipped with two bicycles (elliptical trainer and flat), several weight benches and an abdominal board.

Games for young and old

For lovers of bowling games, a Bocci (Italian Games) course is proposed to you outdoors for moments of convivial games between friends or family.
Inside the castle, you can enjoy a French billiard room.
For the joy of children and parents an outdoor playground is offered with a swing, slide and trampoline.
For more cloudy days, a 40 m² games room has been set up in an outbuilding of the castle.

The gardens of Château d’Argouges

On a global surface of one hectare, they are decomposed in four levels.

  • The main entrance lined with its centennial Tilleuls.
  • The inner courtyard closed by the outbuildings of the castle.
  • The French Garden and its four lawns.
  • The orchards and its swimming pool.
